The Viking Bridge

Conference Table

Large redwood conference table with arched central stretcher.

Custom Order this Product

The Viking Bridge conference table is built from monumental redwood beams reclaimed from a decommissioned bridge. Their former structural role informs the finished work, imparting scale and mass to the overall form. The example shown measures 9′6″ long by 5′ wide.

The design is centered on an arched central stretcher, derived directly from historic bridge construction. Two secondary stretchers and substantial legs complete a balanced, load-bearing frame. The tabletop’s gently curved long edges mirror the arc below, while a restrained 15-degree bevel introduces a shaped profile at the edges.

For transport and installation, the tabletop separates from the base, and the base itself breaks down into separate components. This system allows access through constrained spaces while maintaining rigidity and alignment once assembled.

This particular table has been placed, though the Viking Bridge design remains available for custom commission. Dimensions, wood species, finishes, and edge profiles may be specified to suit residential, lodge, or professional environments.

The piece is designed for use, proportioned for presence, and grounded in its construction.
